The Juvet Landscape Hotel, designed by Jensen & Skodviin Arkitektkontor, is located in Burtigard, Norway.

Each room of the hotel is a detached small independent house with one, or sometimes two of the walls constructed in glass. The landscape in which these rooms are placed is by most people considered spectacularly beautiful and varied and the topography allows a layout where no room looks at another.

In this way every room gets its own surprising view of a dramatic piece of landscape, always changing with the weather and the time of the day and the season.

Jump Studio have recently completed the interior of The Modern Pantry, restaurant and shop/pantry located in two elegant Georgian properties in London, UK.

The style is contemporary with a homely, almost folksy, vibe, designed to complement the chef’s culinary mission: “to please the palate by using traditional and modern ingredients in new and exciting ways”.

Situated on the ground floor, the glass-fronted café/restaurant is the most casual dining space. Smaller tables have lathe-turned pedestal bases with smooth tops engraved with cooking utensil motifs.

The white furniture matches the dove grey color of the walls and pillars while brickwork was deliberately left exposed to reveal a bit of history.

The shop/pantry, that can be accessed via a separate doorway, is decked out like an old-fashioned traiteur but has contemporary touches like bespoke shelving.

Upstairs there are two further dining rooms with beautiful views. Here the design is slightly more formal with furniture made of black stained ash set against light grey walls and original wood panelling.

moomoo projected this unusual house located in Wilga, Poland.

Desiged for a photographer, the house features a dynamic skin, a curtain that covers the long side of the elevation. The textile elevation reacts for any tiny wind move, creating an unusual space for resting, relaxing and finding inspiration.

PTW Architects designed the Moët & Chandon marquee for the Melbourne Cup Carnival in 2005.

Using the latest digital technologies from concept to realization of the design, they created a sparkling and surreal atmosphere in the name of the “bubble-ism”.

Through the use of daylight and a tensioned Lycra material that is digitally patterned and custom-tailored for the space that the press described as an “avant-garde environment not of this earth”.

Aesop’s complete range of skin, hair and body products is now available in the Stand Arcade with a new signature store created by March Studio.

The store is a distinctly contemporary addition to the arcade, a vision of alabaster, cooling green hues and amber glass. The clean-lined space offers a visual break from the otherwise busy arcade, showcasing Aesop’s preference for spare lines and a clean aesthetic.

Alphaville designed this small house on a small site surrounded by heterogeneous buildings in Tokyo.

Two triangular yards at north-east and south-west boundary point-symmetrically, making face all the windows onto these yards, and allowing the interior space to have two long vertical openings which can be sensed from everywhere.
